BellaNota was founded by two sisters with deep Italian roots and a
lifelong love of music. The name means a beautiful note—a fitting nod to both, and
to the product that started it all.
The idea took shape when Michelle, a school principal, noticed how
few software options genuinely fit the way secondary schools work.
Families were drowning in a steady stream of email—a note about
this class, that field trip, a last-minute schedule change—with
little time or attention to give each one.
What if every student's family could receive a single, personalized
email containing only the updates relevant to them? Nothing on the
market did this well. So we built it—and AssemblyNote
was born.
"Most edtech is built for problems an executive decided were
important. We build for the ones principals live every day."
